The partners that comprise this well-established, locally-based company have as much as forty years experience in the Food Service industry.  We pride ourselves on our ability to meet the food service needs of today's educational institutions.  Our trained personnel are working with students, staff and faculty at many Southern California elementary-through-high schools, as well as Community College campuses.

The organizational structure of our company is designed to relieve school administrators from devoting valuable time to food service concerns.  We also welcome the opportunity to serve on food service committees and/or attend meetings with staff on a regular basis.  Our goal is to provide schools with the highest quality food and service available.

We can provide a service which will meet or exceed your expectations.  We have an excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of successful food administration:

  • Proper procedures for handling of equipment used for preparation, cooking and serving of food.
  • Food values including food combinations and economical substitutions that may be made.
  • Serving food that is attractive to students, as well as delicious and nutritious.
  • Sample testing of new items to satisfy diverse ethnic backgrounds.
  • Proper supervision and training of all food service staff.

OUR STAFF

Owner: ROY McDONALD
  • Qualifications: 40+ years restaurant/educational food service, including 11 community college campuses.  Previously owned & operated lunch trucks, vending & licensed-brand kiosks.

Vice President of Finance & Contracts: LISA Lo GRANDE
  • Qualifications: 20 years restaurant management/fast-food experience.  B.S. Business Management & B.A. Accounting -- Pepperdine University.

Food Service Director/Catering Director: DAVID McDONALD
  • Qualifications: 20 years experience managing educational food facilities.

Executive Chef: ARTURO FERNANDEZ
  • Qualifications: 10 years experience cooking in educational & restaurant facilities.

Executive Chef: SALVATORE OCHOA
  • Qualifications: 20 years experience cooking in restaurant facilities.

Full-Time Staff Member: BLANCA GONZALES
  • Qualifications: 30 years experience in restaurant & educational facilities.

We also employ a large part-time staff including dishwashers, food preparers & student employees.
